Co-Founder

Fernanda Contreras

Fernanda Contreras, vice president and co-founder of Kindling Neuro, is a junior at Bentonville High School with a strong passion for psychology and neuroscience with a long term goal of becoming a pediatric psychiatrist. Through Kindling Neuro, she hopes to make brain science engagement more engaging and accessible for students who share a similar passion.

Kaylee Zhao

Kaylee Zhao, President and Co-Founder of Kindling Neuro, is a junior at Bentonville High School with a strong passion for neuroscience and a long-term goal of becoming a neurosurgeon. Through Kindling Neuro, she aims to make neuroscience accessible and meaningful to everyone by fostering curiosity and awareness.

Mina Saka, vice president and co-founder of Kindling Neuro, is a sophomore at Bentonville High School that enjoys learning about psychology and hopes to pursue a career in psychiatry. Through Kindling Neuro, Mina works to educate and connect students interested in neuroscience through impactful events and opportunites.
